Description

• SSV Labs is a fast-growing startup applying Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) to enhance the security and decentralization of Ethereum staking.
• The protocol provides an open and simple infrastructure for splitting and distributing validator keys into multiple KeyShares, allowing validators to operate across multiple non-trusting nodes.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of backend experience in Node.js or Python.
• Position is 80% hands-on and 20% management.
• Experience with AWS (or other cloud providers), PostgreSQL & MongoDB.
• Cloud microservice architecture and design experience.
• Proven work experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and PubSub task management tools.
• 2+ years of frontend experience in React.js - Advantage.
• Experience working with existing open-source solutions - Advantage.
• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures - Advantage.
• BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field - Advantage.
• Any knowledge of Blockchain, Digital Currencies, or Staking - Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the formation of a new and autonomous infrastructure team dedicated to expanding Distributed Validator Technology (DVT).
• Design, develop, and deploy software applications in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Build scalable and robust applications with high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
• Write and maintain clean and efficient code.
• Work with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure software development meets business requirements and timelines.
• Continuously learn new technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
• Work at a rapid pace with substantial ownership and autonomy over your domain.
