Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer.
Proficiency in backend development using TypeScript/JavaScript, with frameworks like Express or NestJS.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, REST API best practices, and server-side performance optimization.
Interest in Web3 ecosystem, wallets & transactions, IDOs, ICOs, and DeFi (staking, farming, liquidity pools).
Experience in user-centric product development environments.
Technical leadership experience mentoring and coaching developers in a collaborative team environment.
Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Design and manage RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party services.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
Monitor and optimize backend performance, focusing on scalability and Web3 integrations.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
Ensure adherence to best coding practices, including unit and integration testing.
Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud-based deployment (AWS).
Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the development team.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in Web3 & blockchain.
Ensure backend systems are scalable, maintainable, and capable of supporting business growth.
