Description
- At Conduit, we're building the rollup-native cloud platform that will scale Ethereum.
- Crypto builders have been held back by a lack of onchain compute — without the ability to process a high volume of transactions quickly and cheaply, onchain apps and ecosystems can’t build high quality user experiences.
- Rollups have emerged as the answer to this problem. Just as servers work together to scale compute in web2, so too can rollups scale onchain compute in web3.
- Conduit combines web2 engineering best-practices with web3 rollup technology to make it easy for anyone to launch and maintain their own chain.
- We run the largest chains in production, including Proof of Play, Zora, Aevo, and more. This translates to 200+ chains across mainnet and testnet and over $1B in total-value-locked (TVL).
Requirements
- Strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.
- Experience hacking on various rollups, understanding their underlying components, and familiarity with trade-offs of those components and platforms.
- Experience with EVM node software and a deep understanding of the EVM and how external tooling integrates with it.
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Rust, and Solidity.
- Ability to debug problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks.
- Experience tinkering with optimistic and ZK rollups and deploying applications to various chains.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and enhance the rollup stack offerings and customizations.
- Develop custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers to create new or more efficient functionality.
- Help expand support for emerging L2s.
- Architect, build, and deploy systems, services, and integrations that help rollups connect with other ecosystem partners.
- Contribute to defining Conduit’s product strategy and roadmap with the rest of the team.
