Requirements
- Highly experienced with Scala
- Experience working with functional programming libraries (e.g., Cats Effect 3)
- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with microservices, Kafka, and event sourcing
- Experience with backend technologies such as Fs2, Tapir, Sttp, Pekko
- Proficiency in infrastructure tools: Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, PostgreSQL
- Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial thinking
- Passion for Crypto/Web3 technology
Responsibilities
- Identify requirements for backend architecture design and API with the engineering team
- Solve challenging problems in finance and distributed systems
- Write rigorous automated tests and ensure code quality and documentation
- Optimize code for performance and scalability
- Support and coach junior team members
- Own services from tech design to deployment and monitoring
- Collaborate with product teams to provide early technical guidance
- Take part in continuous improvement of the overall technical architecture
