Description

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience with highly scalable Web API engineering.
- Strong experience with high-throughput database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB).
- Strong experience with maintaining scalable microservices systems.
- Good experience with distributed systems and/or container orchestration.
- Strong interest in Web3/crypto industry and experience using crypto applications (e.g., Uniswap, Aave).
- Comfortable with Software Engineering and a little bit of DevOps.
- Experience in shipping production-grade code that handles thousands of user interactions/transactions.
- Not essential but big bonus points: Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, viem), Solidity smart contract development, EVM knowledge, and P2P systems (e.g., libp2p).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Web3 backend APIs, enabling seamless interaction between backend/frontend applications and the blockchain.
- Develop and maintain backend services for smart contract interaction, ensuring seamless integration and communication.
- Specialize in smart contract lifecycle management, from writing and deploying contracts to conducting automated testing and security audits.
- Optimize blockchain data processing, implementing efficient methods for ingesting, storing, and querying on-chain data.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with front-end developers and product teams to integrate blockchain functionalities into user-centric applications.
- Implement best practices for blockchain security, staying ahead of smart contract vulnerabilities and employing rigorous auditing processes.
- Advance our infrastructure-as-code approach, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure back-end services.
- Drive innovation in Web3 technologies, researching and integrating new blockchain protocols and tools.
